Mode of Action
Bentazone is contact herbicide, absorbed mainly by the foliage, with very little translocation, but also absorbed by roots, with translocation acropetally in the xylem.
Fomesafen is elective herbicide, absorbed by both leaves and roots, with very limited translocation in the phloem
Quizalofop-p-ethyl is a systemic herbicide, absorbed from the leaf surface, with translocation throughout the plant, moving in both xylem and phloem, and accumulating in the meristematic tissue
