Mode of Action
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) has to be eaten to cause mortality. Its toxins dissolve in the high pH insect gut and become active, then attack the gut cells of the insect, punching holes in the lining. The Bt spores spill out of the gut and germinate in the insect eventually causing death.
Application Guide
Apply Baciguard® 16WDG as a direct spray when larvae are young and before crop is extensively damaged and ensure adequate coverage of the foliage
If possible, apply when eggs begin to hatch and repeat application at an interval of 5 days.
