Mode of Action
Flusilazole is an Ergosterol Biosynthesis Inhibitor (EBI) which makes fungal membranes rigid and leaky, so the pathogen hyphae cannot grow and infect the host. It blocks elongation of primary hyphae after spore germination has occurred.
Application Guide
Apply at the first sign of disease infection at an interval of 10 – 14 days with a maximum of 4 applications per season.
Longstar® 400EC is compatible with commonly used pesticides and foliar fertilizers and non-phytotoxic when used as recommended. However, a physical compatibility test is recommended before mixing commercial quantities or spraying a large area.
To achieve good disease resistance management, after 3 sprays with Longstar® 400EC change over to a fungicide with a different mode of action.
